The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) proceeded with stage 2 of the data collection survey which is the detailed hydrological analysis of NIA Region V as one of the priority Water Resources Regions (WRR) in the country.
This study aims to formulate a water resources development and management plan in the priority areas and later on propose effective priority project concepts covering a wide area of development.
JICA Study Team headed by Mr. Tadahiro Fukuda-- Team leader, Water Resource Development and Management, together with the NIA Region V personnel will conduct a week-long visit to various Irrigation projects in Legazpi, Albay, Catanduanes, Naga City, and Masbate City.
