Naga City— Engr. Gaudencio M. De Vera assumed his post as the new Regional Manager, succeeding Engr. Roberto J. Dela Cruz, at the NIA Regional Office No. 5 during the turnover of leadership on July 25, 2023, held at the NIA conference room, here.
The event was virtually presided over by NIA Senior Deputy Administrator, Engr. Robert C. Suguitan, who was simultaneously leading the Change of Management (CMT) workshop for the finalization of the NIA Reorganization Proposal in Orani, Bataan.

NIA Region V, through the Operation and Maintenance Section headed by Engr. Emma Manlagnit, conducted a 2-day workshop on the updating of Enhanced Farmland Geographic Information System (eFGIS) at the NIA Farmer’s Training Center last July 11-12, 2023.
NIA Acting Regional Manager Roberto J. Dela Cruz highlighted the importance of adapting to the technology by modernizing the parcellary maps and its farm information through the FGI System.
