To ensure the effective and efficient implementation of irrigation projects within the region, NIA Region V, headed by RM Lauro E. Ballesteros through the Engineering and Operations Division conducts a 3-day seminar-workshop on Design Preparation at the NIA Regional Office Conference room.
The training-workshop will enable the participants to: distinguish the types of diversion works which is applicable to a particular project site; learn how to make use of irrigation network diagram; design projects in accordance with the MCs and NIA standard and specifications; and complete project design within the prescribed period.
There are 5 modules that will be discussed by seasoned NIA R5 engineers who will serve as speakers.
The 3-day seminar is attended by engineering personnel from the Regional Office and Irrigation Management Offices of different provinces of Bicol.
